Emerging Voices & Mentorship
Intergenerational learning and professional development

The conference includes dedicated opportunities for early-career scholars and practitioners to engage meaningfully in dialogue, mentorship, and professional exchange.

The Emerging Voices & Mentorship initiative reflects ABN's commitment to intergenerational learning, capacity strengthening, and the development of future leadership in bioethics.

Emerging Voices Sessions

Selected early-career participants will present work within supportive discussion environments designed to strengthen ideas, refine approaches, and encourage continued engagement.

The emphasis is on constructive dialogue, mentorship, and intellectual exchange.

Mentorship Pods

Small-group mentorship conversations bringing together senior and emerging participants across disciplines and regions.

  • Structured yet informal — designed for genuine exchange

  • Cross-disciplinary — senior mentors drawn from across sectors

  • Sustained throughout the conference — not a single event

  • Focused on practical guidance, career development, and long-term professional relationships

Cross-Generational Dialogue

Emerging scholars are integrated into the wider conference programme while also benefiting from dedicated mentorship spaces.

Further details on participation opportunities and mentorship structures will be announced with the full programme in September 2026.
